Well, we played hard, but we lost 3-1 to the Sabres for our first loss of the season. We’re now in second. We actually played really good defense and had more shots on goal, but their goalie blocked everything we shot at him.
On a side note, we’re getting team jerseys and we’re talking about changing our name to “Snipers,” which I think is better than “Devils.” I volunteered to make a logo, and I’ve been working on that. Here’s what I have so far, but I’ll be playing around some more, making more variations soon. Suggestions?

Since you’re “aiming” for the goal, maybe consider having a goalie “in your sights” rather than a regular hockey player. Unless your sniper skills are executed by bodychecking…heh.
Snipers is actually pretty inaccurate name for a hockey team since, you know, snipers sit in one spot and shoot. I hope that’s not how your offense works. :)

There are a lot of hockey teams named Snipers, so we didn’t make up the name out of the blue.

Snipers is AWESOME! Dude, way better than the Devils. You should have the cross-airs on a hockey player’s face and have a .50 caliber bullet hole though the guy’s eye with blood and his brains blasting out the back of his completely f’d up head! THAT’d be awesome.
