Oh, sorry. I forgot about that f/1.8 fixed zoom at 50mm. Hm…I guess that is better than my f/2.8 17-35 zoom wide angle lens with a much closer focal point.

Primes will always destroy any zoom lens.
I’d get a Canon 24mm f/1.4 lens, but then I wouldn’t have anyone to take pictures of with Chesney and Caleb gone and me all by myself in my motel room.
