I talked to a sales guy at Inline Sports, which is only 10 minutes away from where I work, and he said it broke because I had a welded chassi, which they don't make those kind anymore. They all are one-piece constructions now.

Great. I guess that's why it was only $50. Sorry A.J.

Just the usual places, hockeygiant, hockeymonkey, penaltybox and epuck (all .com). I reccommend Tour skates. My new ones are awesome (Red Max), but really, you should stick to the brand you are familiar with, or feels comfortable to you. Just remember, that there are only 2 things that can make an immediate difference to your game, your skates and your stick. The best or most expensive stick or skates are not really important, its what you like, and what feels comfortable to you. For example, the best player i have ever played with or against, uses a pair of $25 recreational skates and a $30 wood stick!!
