We arrive on the 18th, leave on the 6th, and are away in Seattle from the 29th to 31st. I think they have games on the 20th and 23rd, something like that.

Andrew: Sure, I’m up for watching a game. I’m going to watch one with my cousins this Saturday. What dates are you here from. We can go to any game while you’re here–tickets run about $30 for the cheap-o seats.

Forget the Sharks. It’s Warrior time baby!

I’ve been watching the sharks and NHL in general on highlights from NHL.com. A couple of people who have seen games live on tv have told me that generally the sharks’ problems lie mainly in defence, and that this trade is a fairly weird one. The sharks are trading away a really good D man in Brad Stuart, who will now get a lot more recognition of his talents playing for an east coast team. Along with sharks legend marco sturm i’d say its a pretty big loss to them.
Although on the positive side Joe Thornton is a huge name, an elite centre, who will provide the sharks with some immediate scoring to back up Marleau.
Tim, you want to go catch a game while i’m in SC?

We won’t know until later whether or not this was a good idea. But right now, I’d say that anything other than the status quo is going to help the Sharks.
