New iPod for Me

I got a new iPod. I won an iPod back in 2004 and gave it to Chesney because that was back when I thought Apple was dumb. How things have changed. Now that we don’t share an iPod, I don’t have to listen to Chesney’s Black Eyed Peas, and Chesney doesn’t have to listen to my Carpenters.
Chesney likes Black Eyed Peas? That’s cool. I want a new iPod, that’s awesome.

One of the Black Eyed Peas members is Filipino and some of their songs he actually raps in Tagalog. He’s pretty big here in the Philippines.
Awesome. I got a gift cert for an iPod at scuba.com’s Christmas party, so I’ll be getting one soon. I have this feeling that shortly after I get one, they’ll announce the next version of the iPod, and I’ll wish I had waited….which is why I waited ’till after MacWorld, just in case….
There are rumors that the next gen of iPods are going to have much larger screens. Rumors only though. And I’m guessing that the next generation won’t be for several months, as the Nanos are up for an revision first.
I should get a new iPod too. Or I could just replace the battery.
Mac, Apple is selling the last generation iPods (Lem’s iPod in the pictures), refurbished for $189. 20GB and comes with a 1 year warranty. $219 for one with a color screen.
