It's predecessor, the iBook, was known for being a dog, but these new MacBooks are different: they're a really good value. A similarly configured MacBook PRO is about 1,000 more! The only thing that would prevent me from getting one is that it has integrated video, which may not be good enough to play WoW. We'll just have to wait for benchmarks from early adopters.
