I guess it’ll help some Mac faithful, but I don’t now how much of a help it will be to new Apple customers whose first-ever Apple product was the iPhone. He’s basically just giving them a gift certificate.

Steve will now have a harder time convincing even Apple faithful to rush out and buy the newest Apple gadget because of the fear of a price cut or a newer product coming out just around the corner.

  3. This is why I think companies should tell people their pricing plan. For the first month it will cost $600, for the next 6 months it will cost $500, and then it will cost $400. Let people know they are paying more up front so they aren’t surprised because they didn’t think about it.
