		<description>It was secretly a government experiment to see what would happen if a large area was cut off from communications for a day.  Seemed pretty controlled.  At least it encouraged - or forced - people to not spend money for more than 12 hours...</description>

		<description>If you ever want to hear a little bit about Amateur Radio and how easy it is to get a license how I&#039;d be glad to share :-)  I got my license a few years back, and my wife Ellen was able to get hers with a few hours of study.  

This week, communication went down and the police came and started knocking on the doors of some of our primary volunteers asking for help communicating!  Here is a summary of our experience through the day:
